At Live 2 Dance we teach  all styles of dance to all genres of music.                                                                              

Our mission is to make this one of the most interesting web sites about dance, where pepople can swap ideas, dance routines, learn to dance with video tutorials and step sheets. Whether you are a dancer, spectator or Instructor, we hope you find the contents interesting.  Please submit anything you think may be of interest to our readers on the articles submission page.

There is a difference between being a member and signing up for our newsletter.  Members will gain access to the members area and be able to view dance tutorial videos.  All dancers that dance with us need to subscribe to the newsletter as any unforseen closures will be sent to you via newsletter.  So do not think that if you are a member you will receive the news letter they are two separate things.

Dance Class Styles

We hold regular classes, courses and workshops in Modern Line dance,  Salsa Solo and ZUMBA, Reggaeton Solo, Merengue Partners, Cuban Salsa Partners, including technique and styling workshops. We also hold weekend breaks with taster classes in the different styles of dance. You can try out all the types of dance under one roof.  Find out which ones you like then join the classes on your return.  Our latest addition is Samba Solo.  Here are two video clips of Samba Solo.  It is a fantastic workout, the first video clip shows  a beginner level dance and the other is a more advanced level which can be acheived after a number of months.

Our Modern Line dance club is called Linedance Krazy.  Many people ask us "what is the difference between Line dancing and modern Line"?  Well, the Country and Western Line Dancers dress in cowboy outfits and dance typical country and western steps and dance to Country Music, whereas the Modern line dancer will use ballroom and Latin style of dance and dance mainly to pop music.   There is even a new style of Line now called "New Line" for the younger generation where all the dances are choreographed to pop, rap and funk music.  In fact anything goes for the New liners.

Salsa Solo  routines were created for people who want to learn Salsa but do not have a partner.  This is where thay can learn all the authentic salsa steps and dance to Salsa music Solo.  As Line dancing has been so popular for the last 25 years Live 2 Dance choreographer Karen Jones has written enough Salsa Solo routines to cover 5 years worth of classes so far.

Reggaeton Solo.  Reggaeton is originally from Columbia and can be danced as a partner dance, however we teach it as a Solo dance.  It is a very sexy dance and is a lot of fun to learn.

Merengue Partners Merengue comes from the Dominican Republic and is one of the easiest dances to learn as the footwork is similar to a march with a Latin Flavour.

Cuban Salsa Partners If you have always wanted to learn Salsa then you need to know there is more than one type.  We teach L.A. style on 1 in the Solo Salsa and Cuban in the partner Salsa.

ZUMBA   is the latest keep fit dance craze to hit the U K hot  from Columbia.   Zumba covers many styles of dance including Merengue, Mambo, Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Bachata, Cumbia, Techno Cumbia, Flamenco, Reggaeton and Hip Hop.    Using all the Latin Styles with Latin Sounds. It is great fun and a great way to keep fit. Although this is a fitness class a lot of the steps are based on actual dance steps so the time just fly's in this class. Be one of the first to join in the latest Latin dance fitness craze.
